Is that so? You are posting this, so it can't be totally wrong. Chances
are that you haven't set up properly. Try reading the UFAQ
(www.ufaq.fsnet.co.uk) and check. Bear in mind also that passwords are
case sensitive so if you entered it in lower case originally, then you
will need to keep using it in lower case.

Otherwise please state the RISC OS version, internet package and
transports in use. If you are not using RISC OS, repost your query to the
correct group.

hi linda - that is tough!
but even worse is that this is not the place to ask for that sort of help -
freeserve.help.acorn - is for a funny group of people (me included) who use
a wonderful computer operating system that wont run anything from
microsoft!!!
suggest you ask MS for help, not RISCOS (aka acorn)
Sorry

Chika is being naughty again, making all sorts of assumptions.
1 - computer on other desk is riscpc700
2 - on this (windows) computer VirtualRiscpc is running
horses for courses

That's what is sitting on the shelf above me, currently offline. But then
poor old Madoka is knocking on a bit now...

Had a strange run-in with a copy of that yesterday. Never realised that
the registration key was linked to the XP registry like that! Yuk!
